China World Postal Exhibition 2019 will be held in Wuhan International Expo Center from June 11 to 17. On the 9th, Wuhan held a news conference to announce that the world philatelic exhibition attracted 84 countries and regions'philatelic organizations to register for the exhibition, and collected 4683 qualified exhibits, including 2468 international, 2215 domestic, 3433 competitive exhibits and 1250 non-competitive exhibits. A total of 81 international judges and 85 international collectors participated in the exhibition.
Competition exhibits are a collection of excellent works from home and abroad in recent years. Non-competitive exhibits are also highlighted. For the first time, more than 1,350 sets and 4,500 stamps issued in the 70 years since the founding of New China will be exhibited together, as well as 25 full stamps with 5 cents for Broad Border Dragon, 25 full stamps with 1 cents for Broad Border Dragon, and four-sided stamps with the word "manuscript" from collectors at home and abroad, as well as precious stamps from the collection of China Stamp Museum.
During the World Philatelic Exhibition, there were 7 opening days, namely, the opening day, the "one belt and one road" international exchange day, the Jingchu cultural day, the Philatelic membership day, the youth stamp collecting day, the closing date of the military transportation day and the closing date. At the same time, Wuhan also hosts Wuhan International Lotus Festival and Jingchu International Food Festival, bringing rich experience to the guests at home and abroad.
The exhibition area is located in B4, B5 and B6 Pavilions in Area B of Wuhan International Expo Center. It covers an area of 315,000 square meters. There are three major sections of competition, activity and operation, totaling 12 areas. The World Postal Exhibition was held at 11:00 a.m. on November 11. On that day, only successful online visitors were allowed to enter the exhibition. Other activities are held at 9 a.m. and closed at 5 p.m., and visitors are required to show their ID cards.
At present, volunteer reception groups have been set up in Wuhan Railway Station, Hankou Railway Station, Wuchang Railway Station and Tianhe Airport. Visitors from other places can arrive at the designated and recommended hotels by commuter bus at "three stations and one airport", and from the designated and recommended hotels, they can take the commuter bus for post exhibition activities to the Wuhan International Expo Center.
